The short version: browsing this site installs no cookies at all. There is no banner to dismiss because there is nothing to consent to.

What cookies are
They are small files a website can store in your browser to recognise you on your next visit. They do useful things — keeping you logged in, remembering a preference — but they are also used to follow people from site to site in order to show them advertising. It is that second use the law makes conditional on your consent.
Which cookies this site uses
No profiling cookies, no third-party cookies, no analytics. We use neither Google Analytics nor anything like it, there are no social buttons tracking you, and the typefaces are served by this very site instead of an outside server — so not even your IP address leaves here.
The only cookies that can appear are strictly necessary ones, and they concern whoever signs into the site’s admin area, which means us: the session cookie that keeps an authenticated person logged in, and the one remembering their editing preferences. For an ordinary visitor they are never set.
Strictly necessary cookies require no consent, which is why this site shows you no banner.
How to check for yourself
You don’t have to take our word for it: open your browser’s developer tools (F12), go to the Application or Storage tab and look under Cookies. For this domain the list will be empty.
Blocking them anyway
Every browser lets you refuse or delete cookies from its settings, usually under “Privacy and security”. Nothing on this site will change, because none are needed to read it.
If this changes
Should we ever add a tool that sets non-essential cookies, a banner would appear first to ask for your consent, and this page would be updated accordingly.
For everything else about how your data is handled, see the Privacy Policy.
